OLR School Years (Prime)

This functionality is available to districts who have purchased Online Registration as an add-on service. For more information, contact the appropriate Client Executive.

OLR School Years determine for what school years applications can be submitted. Schools can create school years several years in advance, if necessary, to assist with planning and new families and anticipated district growth.

OLR School Year Fields

FieldDescription
LabelDisplays the name assigned to the school year. This could be the years themselves, as in 2016-17, or a more detailed name or year format, as in 2016-2017 or School Year 2016-17. Alphabetic labels are allowed.
End YearThe entered year should be the ending year of the entered school year. In the school year 2016-17, the end year would be entered as 2017.
Active for

Selection determines how applications can be submitted:

  • When Existing is selected, applications can be submitted via the Campus Portal for the active years.
  • When New is selected, new applications can be submitted via the kiosk and email links.
  • When New and Existing is selected, new and existing families can submit applications via the Campus Portal and via kiosk and email links for active and future years.

Create an OLR School Year

  1. Click the New button. An OLR School Year Detail editor displays.
  2. Enter the Label of the school year.
  3. Enter the End Year.
  4. If applicable, select an item from the Active for dropdown.
  5. Click the Save button when finished.
